A few years ago, I found myself sitting at my desk late at night, surrounded by open tabs and half-finished “how-to” videos. I was trying to figure out a new AI tool that promised to save me time, but instead, it was costing me my sanity. I felt like the world was sprinting into the future, and I was stuck at the starting line, tangled in cables and technical jargon.

I realized then that most of the “help” out there wasn’t actually helpful. It was either written by robots for robots, or by people trying to sell me a dream that didn’t work. I just wanted a simple path. I wanted to know which smart device would actually make my morning easier and which AI tool would actually help me express the ideas in my head.

That’s why we built Becomine. It’s the result of that search for a more human way to look at tech — something Wired’s guide to productive AI use captures well: the best tools are the ones that get out of your way.
